The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) will on October first start the implementation of utilization of velocity limiters on every single business vehicle across the country. Corps Marshal of FRSC, Boboye Oyeyemi reported this amid a meeting held at the FRSC National Headquarters Abuja yesterday August tenth with partners from significant government organizations and street transport unions in participation.
As indicated by Oyeyemi, the implementation will be absolute and non-trading off. He reviewed that the underlying date set for the beginning of implementation of the law was first of June 2015 yet that the date must be reached out to take into account further interview and more open illumination programs, particularly since the period fell around the same time that the present organization was initiated.
He approached partners to bring the new date with all reality.
"It is our trust that with the first October 2016 requirement date affirmed by the President, applicable partners would hold hands to make the usage effective" the Corps Marshal expressed.
