The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) on Tuesday demanded that it would proceed with the re-screening of the 2,000 rejected migration initiates, regardless of their proceeded with challenge.
The volunteers had escalated challenges in Abuja taking after moves by the NIS to re-screen them before giving them any job.
The Service representative, Mr Ekpedeme King, said on Tuesday that screening of the released "candidates" whose names were prior distributed in daily papers would happen as planned at the NIS Headquarters, Abuja, from Aug. 29 to Sept. 4.
He clarified that the proposed historical verifications on the "candidates" which included exceptional status, drug test, authentication confirmation and age on rank were compulsory before any occupation into the NIS.
He said, "The historical verifications are an ordinary practice internationally while enlisting staff into military and paramilitary organizations.
"Give me a chance to say that inability to submit oneself for screening would be viewed as withdrawal of enthusiasm for the enrollment exercise."
He said that the activity was not a crisp enlistment and encouraged individuals from general society not to forward any business application to the NIS.
The 2,000 released initiates had been dissenting at the National Assembly and the Ministry of Interior since 2015 for their restoration.
Their challenge, notwithstanding, took an alternate measurement on Monday when they joined individuals from the Bring Back our Girls development to walk to the presidential manor to request their restoration.
They were utilized by a Presidential Committee set up by previous President, Goodluck Jonathan in 2015 after the catastrophe that damaged the March 2014 enlistment exercise.
