EFCC Quizzes University Pro Chancellor

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, yesterday, tested the Pro Chancellor, Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta, FUNAAB, Senator Adeseye Ogunewe over an asserted instance of misuse of office and misappropriation of assets.

Authority sources said Ogunewe, was being tested at the Iyaganku office of the EFCC, Ibadan as at press time over an asserted instance of misuse of office and misappropriation of assets reported against the University Pro Chancellor; Vice Chancellor, Professor Olusola Oyewole, administration and a few individuals from the Governing Council.

The source noticed that "in a request submitted to the EFCC by the Concerned Stakeholders of the Federal University of Agriculture, it was claimed that the Pro Chancellor and the Vice Chancellor occupied with an unbridled defilement and selling out of open trust."
