Dalung, who harped on the arrival of the NSC revealed that the National Sports Commission (NSC) will be returned on the grounds that it has a part to play in the new games design of Nigeria being proposed to propel sports.
The priest made this known on a NTA Network Program, Tuesday Live while reacting to questions on the scrapping of the National Sports Commission.
Dalung clarified that a specialized panel was set up to streamline the converging of Youth and Sports of which he was not part of.
"The NSC was scrapped when I was named pastor of Youth and Sports. The converging of two services to wind up one prompted the foundation of a specialized council to combine the services. What left the report of the board of trustees was only a preparation. The advisory group had officially chosen to blend the service autonomous of the priest however the mainstream conclusion was that the priest scrapped NSC".
He notwithstanding, opined that for the service to hit the nail on the head in games improvement, it must backtrack to the establishment of games which is the grassroots.
"We need to rebuild our games engineering where government will focus on contributing awards on gifts or grassroots games advancement while the world class games will be left for the Federations and polished skill".
The pastor however guaranteed that in a matter of seconds, the service will return to the design of games in Nigeria to guarantee that it serves the energy of Nigerians against every one of these issues.
