Police keep mum over detained cop

THE Rivers State Police Command has declined to react to the objection by a policeman, Sunday Sadiku, attached to Mopol 19 in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, who claimed that he had been kept for two weeks without committing any offense.

Sadiku had in an instant message made accessible to Dailynewsvibe said that his rank (not expressed) was expelled before he was tossed inside the cell.

"I am Sadiku Sunday serving in Mopol 19 PMF, Port Harcourt, Rivers State Command. I have been in a cell for more than two weeks now without conferring any offense.

"This was after they had expelled my rank without submitting any offense and they began rebuffing me. Presently, I am still in the cell," the message from Sadiku read.
