The News Agency of Nigeria(NAN) reports that the essential decision started on Sunday evening at the Banquet Hall of Premier Hotel, Ibadan.
More than 560 certify votes were recorded and Ibrahim surveyed 502 votes and his sole contender Olusola Ebiseni surveyed 41 votes, while 17 votes were invalid.
Ali Gulak, the Chairman of the Electoral Committee, who reported Ibrahim as the champ said that the gathering had shown that popular government was about the general population.
There were five competitors competing for the governorship ticket of the PDP group drove by Sen. Ali Modu Sheriff in Ondo State.
The hopefuls were: Jimoh Ibrahim, Olusola Ebiseni, Bamiduro Dada, Niran-Sule Akinsuyi and Abiye Ademuyegun.
Dada, Akinsuyi and Ademuyegun pulled back from the primaries to bolster Ibrahim to rise as the governorship.
The three hopefuls, who pulled back in their different addresses said that their choice was the consequence of a wide interview and the need to bolster an impressive contender to build up the state.
In his location, Ibrahim said that his desire was to safeguard Ondo State from the officeholder, Governor Olusegun Mimiko, whom he said has crushed the state.
"We should all meet up to protect our state from aggregate annihilation. Gov. Olusegun Mimiko has gathered over a trillion naira and has obliterated the state same," he said.
Ibrahim said that he was occupied with patching up the instruction division of the state, make occupations and pivot the economy of the state.
He said that he was a man with five star honesty and a business of more than 8,000 Nigerians.
"I have overseen more than 8,000 specialists, 16 organizations and have earned two national respects in this course. I guarantee work creation, peace and financial liberation," he said.
Ibrahim expressed gratitude toward the representatives for their bolster, promising to guard the order given to him professionally, politically, and monetarily.
