Pep Guardiola has been chasing the England centre-back all summer, and finally looks like he's got his man.
The official UEFA website has listed Stones as a City player, who will be wearing the No.24 shirt for the Citizens this season.
Stones will also be available for the Champions League play-off clash against Steaua Bucharest on August 16.
City have yet to confirm the deal, but an official announcement is expected shortly.
Everton will pocket a massive profit on Stones, who moved to Goodison Park for a package worth £3million from Barnsley in 2013.
The 22-year-old played 95 times for the Toffees, scoring one goal.
His exploits for the Merseyside oufit earned him a call-up to the full England squad.
